The former president's son Donald Trump Jr. told ABC News that he has spoken to his father. He is still in the hospital. Hearing this, the Secret Service personnel guarding Trump immediately took action and surrounded him. After this, Trump was brought down from the stage while forming a security circle. Then he was immediately seated in the car.
The Secret Service said in a statement, "An incident occurred at Trump's rally in Pennsylvania on the evening of July 13. The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe. This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available."
