IMD issues a special message to farmers, warning of widespread power outages, including in Delhi-NCR.

 According to a statement by the IMD, a fast-moving westward circulation is currently situated over western Iran, presenting as a mid-level and upper-level cyclonic circulation. Another cyclonic circulation, within the middle tropospheric westerlies, extends from 72 degrees east longitude to 32 degrees north latitude. There is a likelihood of increased humidity from the Arabian Sea reaching northwest India during April 13-15.

Between April 13 and 15, there might be some rain, thunderstorms, and hail in parts of northwest India. The weather could get rougher on Saturday and Sunday. The IMD warned that crops, people, and animals could be harmed by the strong winds and hailstones. They also said that temporary houses could be damaged by the strong winds.

The weather department suggested that farmers in northwest India should harvest their ripe crops, fruits, and vegetables quickly and store them safely. They also advised farmers in Jammu and Kashmir to make arrangements to remove excess water from their fields to avoid waterlogging.
