How much will be entry fees?

The entry tax will depend on the number of days stayed after crossing the border. If travelers fail to return within 24 hours of obtaining the permit, they will be required to pay tax for the duration of their stay before being allowed to leave. This new system aims to simplify the process for tourists traveling from India to Nepal.

Based on the Nepali currency, individuals from India are required to pay different entry fees: 200 rupees for a two-wheeler, 600 rupees for a four-wheeler, 9600 rupees for a truck, pickup, or mini-truck, and 400 rupees for an auto-rickshaw. Similarly, a tractor incurs a tax of 500 rupees, while a trailer tractor is taxed at 800 rupees. This receipt covers one day's tax.
