In the city of Baba Vishwanath, Varanasi, there is a place which is not under the authority of the Indian government but rather under the Nepalese government. Here, the rules, regulations, and laws are enforced by the Nepalese government. We are talking about the Pashupatinath Temple situated on the banks of the Ganges in Kashi. People also know this temple as the Nepali Temple. This temple is located near the Vishwanath Temple on Lalita Ghat.

The construction was completed in 1843

However, shortly after, King Rana Bahadur Shah passed away. Following his demise, his son King Rajendra Veer completed the construction of this temple. Rohit Kumar Dhakal, the manager of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, stated that this temple was fully completed in 1843. This temple in Kashi is similar to the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, and its construction was also carried out by artisans from Nepal.

In current times, the Nepali Temple has been integrated with the Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Devotees can now reach the Nepali Temple from within the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor. Additionally, people can easily reach this temple by climbing the stairs above Lalita Ghat.
