The weather has taken a turn across the entire country, with rainfall, snowfall, and the possibility of hailstorms in several states. Here's the latest update from IMD.

                   According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a western disturbance is expected to cause a cyclonic circulation in and around Afghanistan. This circulation is likely to lead to a cyclonic movement, affecting northwestern Rajasthan and the adjoining areas. As a result, widespread light to moderate rainfall, snowfall, and thunderstorms are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh during March 30-31. Heavy rainfall and snowfall are also expected in different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh.

According to IMD, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, eastern Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh may experience scattered light to moderate rainfall and hailstorms with thunder. After that, the weather will become dry. Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation is situated over northern Chhattisgarh and the surrounding areas, and a trough extends from Tamil Nadu to the lower level of Chhattisgarh. Another cyclonic circulation is present over sub-Himalayan West Bengal and the lower level, affecting Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from March 30 to April 5, 2024, causing scattered thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall and snowfall with thunder and lightning.
